Job Description
  • Provide a consistently exceptional experience for all guests
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance
  • Participate in staff education plans, including on the job training
  • Inspect food preparation areas to ensure sanitary food-handling practices
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes with all manner of kitchen equipment and tools
  • Portion, arrange, and garnish food to specifications of the the Chef
  • Perform cleaning duties as required, and maintain a clean and safe work station
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Meet Health & Safety requirements

 

Work Setting

  • Hotel, Resort, Destination Spa
  • Large main kitchen, outdoor kitchens, private cottage dining

 

Specific Skills

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
