Dietary Aide- Part Time- Grove Nursing Home

Our company is located less than 30 minutes northwest of Ottawa. There are approximately 380 staff, 200 volunteers, and a growing number of medical staff providing exemplary care to over 30,000 residents of West Ottawa, McNab/Braeside, Arnprior and portions of Mississippi Mills. 

We are growing! A significant redevelopment project is currently underway for our Grove Nursing Home which is increasing from 60 beds, to 96 beds to better support our community.

Position:                                  Dietary Aide

Status:                                     Part- Time (0.4 FTE) 15 Hours per week x 3 Vacancies                                                      

Schedule:                                Days/ Evenings/ Weekends [6:30-14:30 Mixed shifts] 

Department:                             Food Services -Grove Nursing Home

Hourly Rate:                             $18.07 – $20.08 (plus percentage in lieu of benefits & Vacation)

Qualifications:                        

• Minimum Grade 12 Education
• Health Care Food Service Worker Diploma from a community college required
• Current Food Handler Certificate required
• Related experience preferred
• Must have knowledge of sanitation and safety
• Must possess the ability to understand and apply instructions
• Must have the physical capability to stand most of the time and perform light to moderate work
