CNC Operator

Etobicoke, ON

Mitrex, an Integrated solar and construction solution provider, is looking for an organized, detail-orientated CNC Machinist and Machine Operator with AUTOCAD experience and the ability to run our Vector and GMM CNC Machines. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines and should have experience in manufacturing and machining.

COMPETENCIES

• A minimum of 2+ years experience operating CNC machines
• Ability to understand technical drawings
• Experience routing stone or metal

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set-up, and ensure proper operation of our Vector and GMM CNC machines to cut stone and composite metal cladding materials
• Properly and safely load and unload machines
• Inspect parts during the milling process to maintain high quality
• Perform basic mathematical calculations
• Perform regular daily maintenance to maintain a clean and organized work area
• Observe all safety policies and procedures
• Flexibility for Day or afternoon shifts
