JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for CCWA Communications strategy ensuring that it is timely and aligns with CCWA vision, mission, goals, objectives, and crisis communications. In addition, the position is responsible for management and oversight of outreach and public education activities associated with the Newman Wetlands Center. It is also responsible for all public outreach and public participation programs, media relations, brand management, and all project-related communications with customers and other stakeholders. Manages all community education/engagement activities including conservation programs, public outreach components, participation in statewide water planning and legislative activities.
