We are currently is looking to add a
3 Axis CNC Machine Operator to our team.
The company is one of Western Canada’s leading plastic component manufacturing companies specializing in design, custom fabrication, vacuum forming, thermoforming, CNC machining and laser cutting, etching and marking of many types of products in all types of plastic.
They have expertise working with acrylic, polycarbonate, PETG, ABS, PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene and a variety of other plastics such as nylon, Delrin (Acetyl), phenolic and Teflon.
The successful candidate would have previous experience/be able to do the following:
Experience running 3 axis CNC Machine (They have a Multicam, Axyz’s machine and an Ansi’s machine)
Know how to read drawings/blue prints to check sizes
Knowledge of programming machines would be an asset
Knowledge how to run wood working machinery
Should understand how to glue and assemble plastics
Understanding on how to run Thermoforming equipment or basic understanding of plastics fabrication.
This job is considered an Evaluation-hire - meaning we would run the probation period for the successful candidate, after which the company would hire you directly. (3-4 months)
This is a day shift, Monday - Friday, full-time position (40 hours per week with the opportunity for OT)
