We are a leading exhaust fan manufacturer currently looking for a Brake Press Set-Up Operator for our sheet metal fabrication plant facilities located in Woodbridge.

Job Description

Press Machine operator in a Manufacturing plant. You will report to the plant supervisor

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs daily machine check and Startup of machine or Equipment
• Retrieves or receives raw materials for daily production from stock.
• Set-up proper dies in machine as required.
• Programs computer attachment for required machine production.
• Bend aluminum sheet to create custom panels from drawings
• Use inspection devices to inspect parts, according to print and product inspection plan
• Make small, mathematically calculated, angle corrections and orienting the part correctly
• Reading the print fully to understand tolerances, geometry, material thickness, and special instructions
• Directs finished work -in- progress product to Shipping Area or to stock in warehouse
• Wearing proper protective equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years experience
• Ability to read measuring tools
• Basic understanding of geometry concepts and able to calculate negative and positive adjustments
• Ability to manage time and prioritize work effectively
