Commercial Driver – Class B License

Position Summary

 We’re looking for self-sufficient, motivated CDL drivers for our Maryland location on W.Hampton Place, who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
• Inspect truck and/or trailer daily
• Load and unload materials
• Ensure load securement including the installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport
• Match shipments to sales invoices
• Use Samsara to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency and customer service
• Operate truck safely
• Assist warehouse and yard staff in loading and un-loading trucks, thereby gaining knowledge about our goods and services.

Job requirements

• Passionate about great service & teamwork
• Dedicated to safety, on and off the road
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Class B Driver’s License
• Ability to drive trucks with a manual transmission
• Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Pride in being on time, self-sufficient, and able to provide knowledgeable, excellent customer service
