Customer Service: Address client inquiries and concerns on a day-to-day basis.
Renewals & Negotiations: Process renewals and negotiate new client insurance needs.
Claims Processing: Assist clients in the initial processing of claims efficiently.
Insurer Liaison: Work closely with insurers to negotiate on behalf of clients.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
RIBO License (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) is required.
Minimum of 3- 5 years of commercial insurance experience with a focus on mid-market accounts
Experience should include: Manufacturing, Construction, E&O, D&O, Large auto fleets and other lines of Commercial Insurance. Realty experience is a definite asset.
Strong commitment to client satisfaction.
Negotiation Skills: Previous experience negotiating with insurers.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Software Proficiency: Experience with insurance industry software systems (preferably EPIC and rating engines) is an asset. Requirements also include Microsoft Office products
