Sheet Metal Shop Hand

Company Overview:

Our company is a commercial sheet metal contractor serving Edmonton and the surrounding communities. We specialize in fabrication and installation of ventilation systems for schools, restaurants, retail spaces, community centre's and more.

We require a Shop Hand required for busy Edmonton sheet metal shop. We are looking for a registered 2nd, 3rd, 4th year Sheet Metal Apprentice or licensed Sheet Metal Journeyperson.

Job Duties:

• Duct fabrication
• Welding
• Operating power shear, turning machines, edgers, sheet metal brake.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of HVAC duct design and fabrication
• Trained in the operation and use of sheet metal sheers, brakes, turning machines, seamers and possess the required associated hand skills.
• Proficient in assembling and welding kitchen exhaust duct systems.
• Safety conscious and be able to perform with minimal supervision.
• Certification in First Aid and forklift operation preferred.
