ABOUT THE ROLE
The Materials Management Assistant (MMA) is responsible for performing the tasks and activities of the Material Management Department including but not limited to those tasks and activities relating to the Hospital’s Shipping & Receiving, Stores Central Equipment, Distribution & Supply i.e.”Top-Up” operations & Print Shop. Key responsibilities include the efficient & effective inventory management & control, materials planning, distribution & logistics and warehouse management.

Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and mathematical skills, with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-productivity environment
Proven ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and meet deadlines effectively
Physically capable of safely lifting and transferring up to 50 lbs
Intermediate computer proficiency with practical experience using common software applications
High attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting
