MV Production Supervisor

We're looking for a passionate MV Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this is a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards and safety protocols are met.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing process, technical knowledge of electrical products and strong people management skills.

What will you do?
- Direct and oversee production activities related to medium voltage products.
- Ensure that all production activities adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Lead and motivate MV production team, providing guidance, training and support.
- Manage resources effectively, including materials, equipment and time management.
- Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Continuously evaluate production processes and workflows for improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation, generating reports on production activities.
What you bring to the position:
- College diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Manufacturing or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of MV electrical equipment, motor control systems and assembly procedures.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g. CSA, UL, NEMA, IEC).
- Excellent leadership, communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
The following qualifications would be considered an asset but are not required:
- Experience in a motor control or switchgear manufacturing industry, with specific experience in low-voltage and medium voltage systems preferred.
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or electrical schematics.
