ABOUT THE ROLE
The Leisure Life Skills Instructor is a highly organized team player who will join our interprofessional team in supporting the mission of St. Joseph’s Care Group. This role requires a strong appreciation for people-centered, strength-based care, self-management principles, and the unique challenges of chronic pain. The successful candidate will value accessibility, accountability, best practices, and continuous evaluation.
In this position, the Leisure Life Skills Instructor develops, organizes, and delivers therapeutic programs that support individuals living with chronic pain in achieving optimal health, independence, and community integration. Programming is provided in both individual and group settings, with the goal of preparing clients to access community programs and services following discharge. The role also includes participating in community education and outreach presentations.
