About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Residential Journeyman Plumber & Gas Fitter to join our dynamic team in Calgary, AB. Responsibilities
- Residential rough-ins and finishes
- Supervise and mentor apprentices by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their development and adherence to industry standards and safety
protocols.
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures in residential settings
- Perform gasfitting tasks including installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of gas lines and appliances
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing and gas fitting issues efficiently and safely
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and sequence of plumbing and gas systems
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure high-quality customer service
- Complete documentation and reports as required for each job
Qualifications
- Heavily experienced in residential venting, drainage and water systems
- Residential rough-in & underground installation knowledge
- Valid Alberta Journeyman Plumber certification
- Valid Gas Fitter (Class B) certification for Alberta
- Strong knowledge of provincial codes and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Valid class 5 driver’s licence and clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy loads and work in various site conditions
- Customer service experience an asset
- First Aid and WHMIS certification an asset
