This position will include Shift Work.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system logs, error codes, and performance metrics to identify root causes of malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
• Install and terminate electrical wiring for new industrial equipment according to engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Perform continuity and insulation resistance tests to verify the integrity of electrical connections and prevent potential hazards.
• Assemble and wire electrical control panels and enclosures according to design blueprints, wiring diagrams, and customer requirements.
• Select and install components such as circuit breakers, relays, contactors, and terminal blocks in accordance with electrical standards and regulations.
• Test and troubleshoot panel assemblies to ensure proper functionality, wiring accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum Grade 12 diploma
• Red Seal Industrial Electrician certification an asset
• 3^rd or 4^th year apprentices applications will be considered
• Able to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner
• Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Able to maintain good housekeeping standards
• Able to work independently and as part of a team 
• Possess a sense of urgency with attention to detail
• Maintain clean work areas
• Great time management
