Experience in retail or B2B sales is idea,l but not mandatory. We will gladly train you if you have the right stuff!

What you bring to the Retail/Restoration Sales position: This position requires a combination of strong sales and organizational skills.
- 5+ years of previous sales experience
- Flooring, B2B sales, and/or retail sales experience preferred, but not mandatory
- Availability to work weekends to start and if required
- Customer service experience
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Good time management and organizational/project coordination skills
- Self-motivated - ability to manage with minimal supervision
- Basic math, data entry skills, and telephone manner/presence
- A high school diploma / GED
- A valid driver’s license
What you’ll do as our new Retail/Restoration Salesperson:
- Maintain the existing restoration/insurance, non-profit housing and commercial business in Langford/Victoria and the surrounding areas
- Work with exiting restoration companies, non-profit societies, and contractors to build sales
- Work with homeowners for their flooring needs
- Manage flooring projects from start to finish
- Work closely and productively with retail staff
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, and maintain an environment where all staff are treated fairly and with dignity and respect
- Attend, participate, and occasionally lead store-held charity, social, and product knowledge events
- Effectively communicate customer feedback to management concerning merchandising, policies, problems or suggestions
- Maximize store sales through excellent customer service, creative sales skills, and merchandising techniques
- Keep up-to-date on all merchandise and product knowledge in product categories throughout the store
- Help customers determine how much product they need for their projects and do in home estimates
- Provide excellent service and communicate with both fellow employees and external customers in
