Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in HVAC systems, appliance repair, and refrigeration. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various refrigeration systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in commercial and residential settings.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on refrigeration units to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and conduct necessary repairs.
- Plumb and weld components as needed for system installations or repairs.
- Build and modify refrigeration systems according to specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed.
Qualifications:
- Certification in HVAC or relevant technical training
- Experience as a Refrigeration Technician or in a similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on HVAC systems
- Familiarity with wiring diagrams and controls
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
