Accounts Payable Supervisor

We are the Maritimes'  John Deere Dealership with 15 locations to serve you. 

Our Moncton Corporate Office is seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Supervisor. 

Purpose:

As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be managing the Accounts Payable Team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, as well as implementing efficient process and controls to streamline the accounts payable function. Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Accounts Payable employees with team members in multiple locations.
• Manage the equitable distribution of tasks within the team.
• Ensure all team members have appropriate training and resources required to effectively complete their tasks.
• Provide transactional level support as needed.
• Ensure financial controls are designed and operating effectively, while proactively looking for areas for enhancement.
• Safeguard the assets of the company by vigilantly managing the vendor master file and vendor banking information.
• Coordinate month end procedures and complete reconciliations.
• Manage vendor relationships from an accounts payable perspective
• Ensure timely processing and payment of invoices.
• Management of weekly payment runs.

Requirements:

• Post secondary degree or diploma in Business or related field
• 3-5 years’ Accounts Payable management experience
• Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable management and controls
• Strong communication skills
• Able to travel to company locations
• Familiar with John Deere and competitive products an asset
